Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 650 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned area. The Wisconsin River was at 18.9 feet as of Wednesday morning and officials project levels to rise to more than 20 feet. The river reaches flood stage at 17 feet, according to the DNR.
