The first hearing of the Legislature’s Committee on Government Operations, Accountability and Transparency, or GOAT, focused on state employees working from home after the pandemic. Rep. Amanda Nedweski (R-Pleasant Prairie), chair of the committee, said the goal was to address “strong demand from the public” about whether state workers are being held accountable. During the hearing, state agencies defended their telework practices calling them “flexible” for some workers. This segment features Rep. Nedweski, committee member Rep.
