Although the weather outside was cool and overcast, the energy inside University of Wisconsin-Parkside’s Alfred and Bernice De Simone Arena was celebratory and boisterous Saturday as nearly 500 students received their undergraduate and graduate diplomas.

More than 400 students received diplomas Saturday during fall commencement exercises at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Somers, Wisconsin. The ceremony recognized 413 total graduates, including 246 undergraduates and 167 who earned master's degrees.
