Better late than never
Badgers got off to the fast start they so badly needed. Graham Mertz has shown why he was rated so highly in high school. It took his third year but he’s arrived. The team was motivated against an inferior opponent who was 1-19 in it’s last 20 games. Very impressive victory.

Are you not entertained?
Couldn't kick one more field goal?

Third string's the charm
Dominant win. Pretty much the only blemishes were the O-Line play being lackluster again and that one hiccup by Mertz. Other than that, solid performance. How dare the third string defense give up the shutout though? Lol

You get what you pay for
Difficult to have any takeaways given how awful NMSt is, but two main things for me was that Burkett looks like a legit backup QB option and it was good to see a successful FG attempt. Need to stop these inexplicable holding penalties too.

Hitting the "books"
Must be midterms already, good chunk of students chose to study instead

All uphill from here
New Mexico State is not very good. They actually looked worse this week than against the Gophers. Mertz missed some wide open throws early. Badgers beat a bad team, like they should. It will be a different brand of football next week.

Too hot to handle
All-red unis are 🔥, need more please. Mertz looked good and so did Burkett. Domination was what was needed today and they delivered.

Smooth sailing
Good to iron out some kinks, but that was just an awful awful team.

Lose-lose proposition
Geez…people negative when the Badgers LOSE to a team they are supposed to beat, and negative when they BEAT a team they are supposed to beat. Maybe they are only happy when the Badgers play teams they are not supposed to beat?!

Glimpse into the future
Burkett has good presence. Excited for him.

Hey, it could happen
It is what they needed. If they are not intimidated next week they can keep@it close, and then who knows??
