U.S. Rep. Mark Pocan, a consistent champion for President Joe Biden’s administration, has joined the growing chorus of Democratic lawmakers calling on the 81-year-old president to abandon his presidential run against former President Donald Trump.
President Joe Biden shakes hands with Rep. Mark Pocan, D-Black Earth, after arriving at Dane County Regional Airport for a campaign rally in Madison earlier this month. On Friday, Pocan joined other Democrats in urging Biden to drop out of the race.

U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin said whether Biden should stay in the race is his decision. But she said she has passed along "a lot of input from voters."
