Maurer’s Urban Market is adopting cutting-edge technology, including Caper Carts, an Instacart product that scans items as they are being placed in the grocery cart. The technology eliminates the need to scan items at the checkout counter.
Crews have been busy stocking the shelves, dairy and freezer cases at Maurer’s Urban Market. The store, at the corner of South Park and Cedar streets is scheduled to open Oct. 10.
