Photos: 'Pilgrim Mother' statue draws worshippers to St. Joseph Catholic Church
Students from four area Catholic schools and other worshippers visited St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison on Wednesday, April 8 for mass and to pray before the "Pilgrim Mother" statue during its one-week stay at the church. The statue, commissioned by the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, is traveling across the world before the 500th anniversary of the Our Lady of Guadalupe apparitions in 2031. Different programs, including daily mass in both English and Spanish, will be held every day excluding Sunday until Tuesday, April 14.Â
