Middle schoolers participated in science, technology, engineering, arts and math lessons Wednesday at Starbuck International Baccalaureate K-8 School, 1516 Ohio St. Students made polymer candy canes and learned about acidic and basic chemicals, among other activities. The STEAM camp was organized by the Racine Unified School District Extended Learning program. There is also a STEAM camp scheduled for July 27-30 at Schulte K-8 School. Additional RUSD Extended Learning programs this summer include basketball camp, art camp, cheer camp, volleyball camp and a podcasting and video production workshop.
