For Angela Malone said she came because she did not know what else to do. She participated in the women's march on Washington DC six years ago, and what they thought might happen did happen. "This is not unexpected in any way," she said.

Stacie Albert, of Kenosha, attended the rally to talk about an aspect of the discussion that is frequently forgotten: when a person has to terminate their pregnancy for medical reasons. "Our story gets lost," she said. Her baby boy was very much loved and wanted but was very sick, she said. She spoke of how hard these decisions are for families and how much worse it could be without a safe and supportive place to go for the termination.
