In photos: A look back at Driehaus' last big Lake Geneva birthday bash
Richard Driehaus, a fund manager and businessman, was known for his philanthropy and for his annual birthday party that drew hundreds of people to his Lake Geneva estate and included elaborate themes.
His last birthday, in 2019, before the 2020 pandemic, had a James Bond 007 theme in honor of his 77th birthday. He had many of the cars from those movies throughout his Lake Geneva lakeshore property, floating poker chips in his pond. Guests were greeted by an acrobat serving champagne upside down and the night was capped with fireworks and Diana Ross singing to the guests.Â
