An auto restoration shop in the 300 block of Freeman Street in Genoa City is a complete loss following a fire there on Dec. 23 that destroyed the building and several cars that were inside. Here are photos from the fire and what is left of the building.Â

The Genoa City Police Department and the Bloomfield Genoa City Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire about 2:22 p.m., Dec. 23 at 316 Freeman St. in Genoa City. The fire was still under investigation as of Friday morning, and no injuries have been reported.
Multiple buses that serve the Burlington Area School District caught fire in their parking lot early Tuesday morning, prompting school in the district to be called off for the day. The fire was reported at the Thomas Bus Service Inc. lot at 31340 Bushnell Road in the Town of Burlington.
