This year’s Epic System’s User Group Meeting features themed attractions and a preview of the software updates the company is working on.
About 8,300 hospital administrators and staff descended on Verona this week to hear about Epic System’s new software updates and discuss issues and challenges in the healthcare industry.
Epic Systems, which announces major initiatives at its annual User Group Meeting, wants to have its AI agents predict the health outcomes of patients based on information in their medical records.

Petting zoo animals were the stars of the show at Epic Systems Corp.’s User Group Meeting in Verona this week, which had a county fair theme. A miniature Highland bull was the main attraction of the Tuesday morning address, as he was brought on stage alongside Epic founder and CEO Judy Faulkner to open the three-hour event.
