The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Wind Ensemble and Community Band will perform in concert on Thursday, Dec. 4. The 7 p.m. concert takes place in Bedford Concert Hall on the east side of the campus, 900 Wood Road.
Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic Academy is getting into the holiday spirit with a performance of "Elf the Musical Jr." — based on the beloved film featuring Buddy the Elf as he brings Christmas cheer for all to hear.
The Kenosha Pops Concert Band’s free Christmas Concert will be at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13. it will be held at Carthage College’s Siebert Chapel, 2001 Alford Park Drive.
With help from United Way of Kenosha County, the Mahone Foundation and BCU made the holiday season brighter for local students this week, distributing gifts at two Kenosha elementary schools.
Families flocked towards the Kenosha County Job Center for holiday cheer. This week, Holiday House, a nonprofit began their annual gift-giving program.Â
KENOSHA — The Mayor's Youth Commission has recognized seven local students for their achievements and positive contributions to the Kenosha community.
With Christmas rapidly approaching, there are presents to be put underneath the tree, stockings to be hung and meals to be prepared. Luckily several Kenosha businesses remain open around Christmas for last-minute shopping, and several will even serve full meals.
What started as a luncheon for three has now sprawled into a group of a community that has hundreds of attendees. The Ladies of New Heart has been connecting women in Southeastern Wisconsin for 25 years.Â
