While the unsanctioned encampment continued on part of Library Mall, others went about their normal business at the park, a key pedestrian crossroads.
University officials reminded protesters that camping on university property is against the law, but no efforts had been made as of Tuesday afternoon to clear the encampment.

Organizers put out a daily schedule of events, including teach-ins and screen printing.
