Lake Geneva receives update on Hillmoor Zone 1 project

Representatives from Upland Design Ltd. presented preliminary final concept plans for Zone 1 of the Hillmoor property to Lake Geneva officials during the March 13 Hillmoor Commission meeting. Plans for Zone 1 are set to include walking trails, disc golf course, dog park, splash pad, amphitheater, playground area, sledding hills and picnic pavilions. The plan also is set to feature native planting areas. Final concept plans for the project are set to be presented to the Hillmoor Commission members on Thursday, April 9 and Monday, April 13. Members of the Lake Geneva City Council approved in November 2025 to hire Upland Design to help city officials develop a concept plan for Zone 1 of the Hillmoor property, which city officials purchased in late 2022 for about $6 million from White River Holdings, LLC in Chicago
