Crandall's Restaurant helped put Hebron, Illinois, on the map with its world-famous broasted chicken. Now it's taking its chicken on the road with Lil Red Hen, a new food trailer.

Crandall’s Restaurant, 10441 Route 47, Hebron, Illinois, has been in operation since the late 1950s.

“It feels wonderful to see people,” said Judi Beck, co-owner of Crandall’s Restaurant.
A family affair
Judi Beck, co-owner of Crandall’s Restaurant, is often found greeting customers at the hostess station. Judi and her husband, Dan, have owned the restaurant for seven years. Their son, Dean, is manager, while other members of the Beck family also help out in various ways.
The dining room
Keeping tables 6 to 10 feet while staff wears masks, Crandall’s strives to ensure a safe dining experience both indoors and out.
