VIDEO & PHOTO GALLERY: Parade of Trees makes Christmas bright at Geneva Lake Museum
This year, 37 businesses and organizations from the Lake Geneva area have each decorated a holiday tree in the Fourth Annual Parade of Trees at Geneva Lake Museum.
Below are some of the trees. Guests who view them can vote for their favorite, and the one with the most votes will receive the People's Choice Award.

Walking among the trees
The Fourth Annual Parade of Trees is happening Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at Geneva Lake Museum, 255 Mill St., Lake Geneva. Local businesses and organizations decorated 37 trees this year, one of which will receive the People’s Choice Award. See page 6 for some of the entries in this year’s event.
Mirrorballs
Mirror balls and frosting make the blue lights on the tree from the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA stand out in the Parade of Trees.
Parade of Trees
People can visit the Parade of Trees Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Geneva Lake Museum. Admission is $12 adults, $10 ages 60 and over, $5 ages 13-17 and free for ages 12 and younger, museum members and active military in uniform or with ID.
A festive favorite
One of the more colorful entries into this year’s Parade of Trees is from Taqueria El Gallo De Oro.

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
Rock Central's entry into the Parade of Trees strongly recalls Brenda Lee's 1958 holiday song "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree."

Pete’s Printing’s tree is decorated with “putz houses,” or miniature ornaments often found as the centerpiece in other decorative holiday scenes, most of which are from the 1930s.
