Mark Eugene Pearson

Mark Pearson, of Lake Geneva, WI, was called home to the Lord on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at the age of 54. Mark was a humble, generous, and loving man. In this past year, Mark experienced a renewal of his faith, finding a deeper and steadier trust in God’s plan than he had ever known. That renewed faith became the quiet foundation beneath everything in his final chapter — his family, his friendships, and his sense of purpose.
Mark’s commitment to service began at a young age. As a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps who served in the Persian Gulf War, he carried the discipline, integrity, and sense of purpose he developed in uniform into every chapter of his life that followed.
Mark studied Finance at Indiana University and later earned his MBA at DePaul University. He went on to become a partner at Deloitte, a career he was proud of — though he would be the first to say that no achievement meant more to him than his family.
Above all, Mark cherished his family as one of God’s greatest gifts to him. His three children, Andy, Ava and Ella, were his greatest joy, and he was a devoted, loving father. In this same season of renewal, Mark found his way back to Stacey Pynn Pearson, his first wife, and the two became re-engaged, grateful for a second chance at love. Stacey’s daughters, Alexis and Avery, became a cherished part of his life as well. Mark and Stacey delighted in long walks together, thankful for the time God gave them.
Mark found peace and gratitude in the simple gifts of God’s creation — a day of fishing, a quiet walk in nature, a beautiful sunset, a scenic drive with the top down on his Porsche. He enjoyed an occasional cigar and the quiet pleasure of smoking a pipe on a cold day. An avid Formula 1 fan, he also loved tinkering with watches, shooting, exploring the craft of 3D printing, and losing himself in a good book. Those who knew Mark will remember his wit, his warmth, and the genuine joy he brought to even an ordinary day — joy that many say shone even more brightly in this last year, as his faith deepened.
Mark is survived by and will be forever loved by his fiancée, Stacey Pynn Pearson, and her daughters, Alexis and Avery; his son Andy; his two daughters, Ava and Ella; his beloved mother and step-father, Marlene Miller and Patrick Miller; his father and step-mother, Philip Pearson Sr. and Laurie Pearson; his siblings and step-siblings, Philip Pearson Jr., Chad Lauersdorf (Karla), Ryan Lauersdorf (Brenda), Jill Miller Hardt (Darrell), Andrew Miller, Timothy Miller (Darlene); his nephews and nieces, Philip Dawson Pearson, Graham Carlson Ritz, Cody Lauersdorf (Sarah), Cole Lauersdorf (Morgan), Kendra Lauersdorf, Alex Lauersdorf (Robyn), Logan Lauersdorf (Savannah), and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mark now rests in the arms of his Heavenly Father, at peace and free from pain.
