Among those pictured are Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy founder and chairman Harold Friestad (seated as passenger). Founded in 1990, Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy, 251 Elkhorn Rd. (State Hwy. 67) operates a 231-acre nature preserve featuring prairie, woodland and wetland areas, as well as an aboretum, picnic pavilion, nature-viewing tower and an extensive trail and boardwalk system.
