The Badgers had an answer for the sharpshooter Kominaga, unlike last year in Lincoln by getting balanced scoring, including going 13-26 from the 3pt. line. Another impressive showing with points in the paint, 36-18. These last two games have been very impressive so far.

Added the right pieces
Last year 11-2, ranked 14 and then fell apart. More depth and key additions this year. Main thing in my mind going forward is defense first followed by getting to the basket and shooting free throws. 3 pointers are nice but can’t rely on them.

Fun level of offenses to watch
Felt like an NBA game (meant in a good way): lots of free-flowing offense, high volume and percent made of 3s, and some questionable effort on defense at times by both teams. Key result seems to be getting Essegian going. Great win!
