BELOW: The original ice house from Norman B. Barr Camp is still standing on the property. It’s one of the only ice houses left on the lake. The camp is working to restore the building which is in need of repairs, including repairs to its foundation.

Grace Covino, 9, enjoys an ice cream on Friday, June 24, at Norman B. Barr Camp, which is located along the shore path by George Williams College. It is between Fontana and Williams Bay. The camp candy and ice cream store, located right on the shore path, is open to the public during the summer daily from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
