The Badgers have turned a corner and there was an admission of guilt for some fans, and others were gleeful from a physical, emotional win.

Gritty feels appropriate for once

A gritty effort overcame horrific officiating! #ONWISCONSIN!

— Jeff Ostach☮️ (@jeff_ostach) March 16, 2024

Don't know about eight but ...

It's always great when you win a game after playing 5-on-8 for 45 minutes.

— Craig Smith (@smithcp1) March 16, 2024

It is certainly among the best

Top 5 all time #Badgers win. Overcame so much adversity to get the win.

— Tyler Thrune (@tylerthrune) March 16, 2024

— Bill Schaumberg (@CropBerg) March 16, 2024

Nice gif choice

In spite of the referees, the badgers are moving on!!! pic.twitter.com/6vPQ5gjYXU

— Craig Culbertson (@CjcCraig) March 16, 2024

An emotional win

What a fight! Never quit. Proud of this group. OMG. I am actually in tears. WOW!!!

— BethAnn Meier (@BAMeier) March 16, 2024

Classy!

Wiscy deserved the win. Purdue's 16 TOs were brutal. Congrats to the badgers, hopefully they found their footing. Ultimately as a Purdue fan I'm not worried about the team. Take the rest, fix the TOs, they'll be fine.

— Hunter Chastain (@hchastain008) March 16, 2024

Chucky Hepburn DAWG

Chucky Hepburn- best game as a Badger. Every time Purdue looked like they were gonna pull away- Chucky stuck a big shot. And drawing the push off on Braden Smith was huge. My goodness! 😤 pic.twitter.com/lG4p7FKGnp

— Jake Nelson (@Jake_Nelson10) March 16, 2024

Was his offense or defense better?

@ChuckyHepburn is amazing. And one of the best defenders in the country. This team is back. #OnWisconsin

— Manu Raju (@mkraju) March 16, 2024

A lot to unpack is correct

My God. Lots to unpack in this one.. First of all the of officiating should be investigated. Second, I've never been more proud of this team. They f'ing fought through the officiating, and losing Wahl, Winter, and Crowl. Incredible stuff. On f'ing Wisconsin baby.

— Scott L (@CCSO228) March 16, 2024

A defining win

THAT is Badger Basketball!! Gritty and unrelenting in the face of adversity!!

— Randall Kohl (@crandallkohl) March 16, 2024

A pleasant admission of guilt?

Can I have my crow beer battered with a side of fries, I was wrong about these guys and the coaches.

— Joe (won his fantasy league) (@J_Michaels25) March 16, 2024

Some great coaching

As a critic of Gard, I have to admit I was wrong. Give him and the team credit for raising the level of their play at the right time. Awesome win against ridiculous officiating.

— JFro (@FrohneJohn8856) March 16, 2024

A great quote

This is the team that we thought they were!! tremendous badger type effort

— Mark Massey (@mfmass) March 16, 2024

Set the tone early

A gutsy effort by the whole team. Love the fight to overcome all that was going on out there today

— Danny Zweifel (@wsd1988) March 16, 2024

Liked the use of 'unbelievably stellar' because it was incredible

I’m sitting here with my mouth open!! Unbelievably stellar job by ALL the Badgers!!! Grit, perseverance, sharing the ball, very few turnovers- pretty much a perfect game! We found a way despite Evey and the refs. We got the call when it counted! pic.twitter.com/HqK5mOZ8FO

— Mary Korn Erickson (@sixtiesfan) March 16, 2024

They have been at home this week

The next five years of recruits out of Lakeville North have just signed on the bottom line!

— Robb Vogel (@RobbVogel) March 16, 2024

Thanks for redacting an honest reaction

Thoughts? The phrase “Holy, followed by a swear word” comes to mind and used often. They stayed in this contest all game long and it was a hard earned victory. Congratulations to the Badgers Men’s Basketball team! Onto the Women’s Hockey team, followed by tomorrow’s BB final!

— Richard Zimdars (@RichardZimdars) March 16, 2024

Good use of fouls, eh?

What an effort. When Tall Guy shoots 10 more free throws than our entire team and our entire front court fouled out, wow. WOW wow wow. We are vibing

— Badger Steve 🧀🍺🦌 (@UW_Steve) March 16, 2024

Guard play is so important in March

They earned this, Jim. Overcame tough calls and made the plays on both ends of the court to win it. First Hepburn, then Klesmit. Looking forward to tomorrow!

— Rick Foy (@RickFoy) March 16, 2024

He was strong defensively

They were better today with Carter Gilmore on the floor.

— Jon Cherney (@CherneyJon) March 16, 2024

Rasheed Wallace is smiling somewhere

Ball don't lie.

— Wiley Nash II (@WileyNashII) March 16, 2024

Pencil 'em in

Final four

— Justin (@JSchmitz18) March 16, 2024

Retweet

This is the team that was ranked No. 6 in January!

— Jill Fredel 🇺🇦 (@badgerjill) March 16, 2024

Indeed

Wow. That is all.

— Russ Evansen (@waunaruss) March 16, 2024

Nice to have an alternate perspective

I’m A Marquette guy and I thought it was fantastic. The rumors of Greg Gard’s demise are exaggerated

— Nick Bretl (@BretlNick) March 16, 2024

Did what they needed to do

The Badgers were plucky throughout. Took care of the ball, played great defense and executed. Very proud of them. I rarely criticize refs. But, holy cow, they were awful today.

— rick brown (@rickbrown35) March 16, 2024

'Jump Around' on the bandwagon

Suffering is good for the soul. Nobody likes to go through it but it sure makes the victories taste so good. So happy for the players, staff and the real fans. Bandwagon is open for all who want to jump around and join.

— mike kerry (@BadgerMike) March 16, 2024

It appears so

This team is getting hot at the right time hopefully!

— Bryan Wagar (@PackerbackerBry) March 16, 2024

Just like that

pic.twitter.com/oyuiwvSf3K

— Joel Geier (@joel_geier) March 16, 2024

But first, a title game

Gutty win.. again.. Finding ways to win.. Like seeing them playing well again after a really tough stretch. Hoping it continues in the NCAA tournament.
