Dane County Circuit Court Judge Stephen Ehlke wrote that recall organizer's request to force a vote under old legislative maps "plainly violates" the state Supreme Court's previous decision.
The poll was conducted in the days immediately after the June 27 presidential debate.
"I have heard a lot of input from voters, things they've been expressing, and I pass those things off to the White House," Sen. Tammy Baldwin said Sunday.
Former President Donald Trump is already the presumptive GOP nominee, but the party plans to formally select him as the presidential candidate during the four-day convention.
With no Republicans running in the Democratic-leaning district, the next lawmaker to hold the Senate seat is likely to be decided in the August 13 primary.
