Wisconsin voters could have the final say next fall on Democratic Gov. Tony Evers’ partial budget veto that committed the state to spending more on K-12 schools each year for the next 400 years.
By striking words and a hyphen, Gov. Tony Evers was able to extend school revenue limits for the next four centuries. Republicans plan to ask voters to forbid such vetoes in the future.
