Sara Rodriguez has fired her campaign manager after she submitted campaign finance statements earlier this year that overstated her campaign contributions by “hundreds of thousands of dollars,” the Democratic gubernatorial candidate said Monday.

The winner of the August GOP primary will go on to face Democratic candidate JoCasta Zamarripa and Green Party candidate Pete Karas.
