Lake Geneva Cruise Line seeks assistance in naming new boat
FROM STAFF REPORTS
Lake Geneva Cruise Line has added a new boat to its fleet.
Launching this summer, the boat will be used for private charters and a new Shoreline Architectural Tour.
"This new boat will have a warmer atmosphere, Art Deco accents, nickel and chrome fittings and fixtures instead of traditional brass," said Bill Gage Jr., owner of Gage Marine Corp. and lake Geneva Cruise Line. "Every element of the design is intentional to enhance the customer experience."
The boat is 19 feet wide and more than 65 feet long, with dining capacity for 60-plus people and total passenger capacity of 125-plus.
The first 75 people to submit entries, along with a guest, will be invited to the boat launch event this summer.
The person who submits the chosen name, will christen the boat by breaking the bottle of champagne over the bow, and also will receive a $250 PIER 290 gift card, a complimentary Lake Life Season Pass and a gift basket from the Lake Life Store.
The winner will be announced May 29.
