\Santa Claus, along with "Olaf" and Mayor Charlene
Klein, light the Christmas trees for the Lake Geneva Business
Improvement District's annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony,
which was held Nov. 24 at Flat Iron Park.
Several trees in Flat Iron Park were lightened up for the tree
lighting ceremony and will remain lit throughout the holiday
season.
Lake Geneva residents and visitors had an opportunity to enjoy some holiday magic along with their "Black Friday" shopping.
Officials from the Lake Geneva Business Improvement Districts conducted their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony Nov. 24 in the Brunk Pavilion at Flat Iron Park, 300 Wrigley Drive in downtown Lake Geneva.
The event featured a visit from Santa Claus and "Olaf" from the "Frozen" movies, Christmas storytelling and holiday music from the Central-Denison Elementary School Dynamic Dolphin Choir.
After the tree lighting ceremony, Christmas carolers walked along the downtown area singing holiday tunes.
Several downtown businesses stayed open later hours to accommodate "Black Friday" shoppers, and representatives from the BID kicked off their annual Holiday Decorating Contest, which was held through Nov. 26.
