Something new is coming
FROM THE EDITOR
MIKE BOYD
Certain small rituals stick with you.
For many, it's a crossword puzzle to start the day. A sharpened pencil. A cup of coffee. No rush.
Just a few quiet minutes to think, smile and warm up the brain before the day gets underway.
Those moments matter. They slow us down. And they give us a pause in a hectic, demanding world.
That idea of taking a mental break is part of why we're excited to share something new we'll soon be offering.
In the coming weeks, we'll be introducing Puzzmo, a collection of smart games and puzzles. It will be available through our digital experience as an optional add-on, separate from your core subscription.
Puzzmo isn't about distraction. It's about engagement — the kind that feels satisfying, familiar and worth returning to day after day.
We believe strong local journalism builds trust, curiosity and community. Puzzles do something similar in their own way. They invite focus. They reward persistence. And they give us a reason to come back tomorrow.
Puzzmo is designed to fit naturally into your routine, whether that's a quick reset between meetings, a quiet moment in the morning or a way to wind down at the end of the day. For those who enjoy puzzles, it's an opportunity to add something extra to their daily reading experience.
You'll be hearing more about Puzzmo soon, including how to access it. For now, consider this an invitation to look forward to something simple and fun — a new option designed to complement the journalism you already value.
As always, thank you for reading — and for supporting our journalism.
