Where to find them this season in Lake Geneva area
The hunt beckons. The Easter egg hunt, that is. From the long-running pancake breakfasts of Genoa City and the town of Lyons to various hunts in Lake Geneva, there are plenty of eggs to find.
Below is a calendar of some of the local Easter egg hunts happening between now and Easter Sunday, April 5.

Saturday, March 28
Genoa City Lions Pancake Breakfast and Easter Egg Hunt — 8-11 a.m., Brookwood Middle School, 1020 Hunters Ridge Drive, Genoa City. Breakfast is 8-11 a.m. Easter egg hunt registration 10 a.m. The hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. See the Genoa City Lions Club event page for more details.
Easter Kids Fest — 9-11 a.m., First Lutheran Church, 1101 Logan St., Lake Geneva. Crafts, games, a bounce house, petting zoo, raffle prizes, and an Easter egg hunt starting at 9:15 a.m. Visit the church's Facebook page.
2026 Bunny Trains — 9 and 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 and 3 p.m., East Troy Electric Railroad Depot, 2002 Church St., East Troy, easttroyrr.org/bunny-trains.html. Ride the rail to the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago to meet the Easter Bunny. Other Bunny Train dates: Sunday, March 29; Friday, April 3; and Saturday, April 4. Tickets range from $10-31. Annual Egg Hunt Expedition — 9:30 a.m., Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures, N3232 County Road H, town of Geneva. Is the concept of an Easter egg hunt too stale? Try this, an app-powered adventure that starts with a wagon ride. Participants then hike their way back while searching the trail for giant eggs, solving riddles and meeting challenges to help themselves along the way. Recommended for ages 4-10. Group cost: $30. Wednesday, April 1
Stinebrink's Annual Easter Egg Hunt — 11:15 a.m., Stinebrink's Piggly Wiggly, 100 E. Geneva Square, Lake Geneva. For kindergarten-aged children and younger. Free entry. Arrive early to register and take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Saturday, April 4
Town of Lyons Easter Egg Hunt & 19th Annual All-YouCan-Eat Pancake Breakfast — 8 a.m.-noon, Lyons Town Fire Department, 6339 Hospital Road, town of Lyons. Breakfast and raffles 8 a.m.-noon. Egg hunt 11 a.m., rain or shine.
Big Foot Recreation District's Easter Egg Hunt — 10 a.m., with a Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt starting at 10:45 a.m., Duck Pond Recreation Area, 300 Wild Duck Road, Fontana. Free program. Bring Easter egg baskets.
Lake Geneva Jaycees Annual Easter Egg Hunt — 10:30 a.m., Seminary Park, 521 Baker St., Lake Geneva. Free event. If inclement weather, the hunt will be moved to the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA, 203 S. Wells St. See the Jaycees Facebook page for updates.
Second Annual Bloomfield Easter Egg Hunt — 10 a.m., Bloomfield Town Hall, N1100 Town Hall Road, Pell Lake. Event doors open at 10, but the first group will start the hunt at around 10:30 a.m. First 200 kids will receive a bag they can use to collect their eggs. There will be 2,000 stuffed eggs, with two golden eggs throughout the yard for each age group. Easter Bunny will also be there, handing out candy. Sharon Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt — 11 a.m., Goodland Memorial Park, 111 Church St., Sharon. Second annual event, with bigger golden egg ticket prizes. Designated egg hunt areas will be divided by age groups. Cost: $5 per child. Visit the Sharon Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
