Foundation’s March 24 Better Newspaper Contest awards dinner at the
Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor’s Club — two for the Regional
News and three for his former employer, the Eagle River-based Vilas
County News-Review. Johnson earned two first place awards, two
second place awards and a third place award for his writing.
