Local Music: Terry Byrne — 6-9 p.m., Maxwell Mansion, 304 S. Wells St., Lake Geneva, staymaxwell.com. Chicago-based singer-songwriter frequently performs in the Lake Geneva area, mixing country, rock and Americana.

Today starts the three-day, all-genre music festival, with blues, folk, punk, metal, rock and other types of music. Plus camping and art. What the World Needs Now: Burt Bacharach Tribute — 7 p.m., Belfry Music Theatre, 3601 Highway 67, Delavan, belfrymusictheatre.com. Concert featuring the work of the legendary songwriter, who penned tunes made famous by the likes of Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Jackie DeShannon and others. The tribute show is led by vocalist Susan Marten. Tickets $78-94. Another concert is Saturday, May 30, at 7 p.m.

Taking the stage first will be Hersteria, which reportedly is the only female Def Leppard tribute show in the country. Tickets $35-40.

Joel Baer Band — 7-9 p.m., Phoenix Park Bandshell. Drummer from Rockford, Illinois, co-leads Blueshift Big Band, which has recorded big band arrangements of classic video game music. Baer’s band is performing a free show, part of the Free Concerts in the Park series.

Whalen is involved in several acts, including Van Wailin,’ the Sundown Crowd and Telstar; and has performed with numerous local musicians. He is also the singer of Bob Seger act Songs of Seger.
Psychic Parlor: An Intimate Evening of Mind Reading — 7:30 p.m., Maxwell Mansion, joediamondlive.wellattended.com/events/an-intimate-evening-of-mind-reading-at-the-maxwell-mansion. The link calls it an “immersive evening of mindful escape hosted by acclaimed mystery artist Joe Diamond.” Show is over 60 minutes, without intermission.
