2023-O-01 1.Ch 11 Amend 11.01 and 11.10

ORDINANCE 2023-O-01 AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING LICENSES AND PERMITS THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF BLOOMFIELD, WALWORTH COUNTY, WISCONSIN, does hereby ordain the following changes to the Village Code: Section I: Chapter 11 Section 11.01(1) Regulation of Intoxicating Liquor and Fermented Malt Beverages is hereby amended to read: 1) STATUTES ADOPTED. The provisions of Chapter 125 of the Wisconsin Statutes, relating to the sale and consumption of alcohol beverages, inclusive of any provisions relating to the penalty to be imposed or the punishment for violation of such statutes, are adopted and made a part of this chapter by reference. A violation of any such provisions shall constitute a violation of this chapter. Section II: Chapter 11 Section 11.10(2) Drinking and Open Possession of Intoxicating Beverages Prohibited is hereby amended to read: 2) An underage person accompanied by a parent, guardian, or spouse of legal drinking age may be sold or served alcohol beverages in any licensed premises. All other provisions of the Village of Bloomfield's License and Permits Ordinance remain in full force and effect. The full text of Chapter 11 is available for review at the Village of Bloomfield Clerk's office during regular business hours. Section V: Pursuant to Wis. Stat §§66.0103 and 61.50(1) and (3), this ordinance shall be effective the day after its publication, subsequent to its adoption.
